Telescope Health (Beaches)

Hours: 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Cost: PCR Viral ($52 insured / $125 self-pay); Rapid ($129 insured / $129 self-pay); Antibody ($52 insured / $100 self-pay)
Criteria: Telescope Health has expanded its walk-in testing services to offer the full range of COVID-19 testing options for residents across the Beaches and greater Jacksonville area, including St. Johns County residents. The site will offer PCR viral, rapid*, and antibody testing for both insured and self-pay patients with no appointment or referral necessary.
*Due to supply chain issues, we have a limited number of rapid tests, and this testing option will be offered based on availability.
Process: When you arrive at the site, you will need wear a mask and present a valid state ID or driver’s license.  You will be asked to complete a registration form that specifies the type of test or tests, insurance information (if applicable,) and other patient information.  The registrar will process your payment prior to your receiving the test. There are social distancing measures in place, and you can wait in your vehicle until you get tested.  Once all paperwork is completed, the medical team will perform the test or tests.

HOLIDAY HOURS: The site will remain open on a limited holiday schedule from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. starting Wednesday, December 23 through Thursday, December 31.
Results: If you test negative, your test results will either be emailed or texted to you. If you test positive, you will be contacted via phone as well as well as text or email. PCR viral test results take on average 48 hours. Rapid test results take on average 4 to 6 hours. Antibody tests take on average 48 hours.
