Criteria: Testing is open to any Duval County resident or first responder.

To ensure all Duval County Public and Charter School students have the opportunity for COVID-19 testing when needed, student express lanes are available Monday through Friday from 11am to 7pm.

  • To be considered for a COVID test, the student or parent must pick up a verification letter from the student school administration office. The verification letter will be signed by the administrator, attesting to the student eligibility.
  • The verification letter will accompany the student and be provided to the staff at the testing site once verification has occurred the test can be administered.
  • Parent or guardian must accompany their student and provide consent for testing.
  • Each testing site (Oceanway Senior Center, Lane Wiley Senior Center, Leroy D. Clemons Senior Center, and Mandarin Senior Center) has the capacity to perform 192 tests per day.
  • Results for student express lane tests are typically returned in 2 days.
Process: Individuals may schedule an appointment at https://lhi.care/covidtesting. While appointments are not required, they are strongly encouraged. Once registered at the testing center, COVID testing will be administered with a nasal swab test.
Results: Optum Serve Health Services will inform you when results are back from the lab and available on LHI.Care, typically within 4 to 6 days.
